Janet Cox Obituary, Death –  Janet Cox, who resided in Davenport, Iowa, passed away at the age of 83 at Genesis East Medical Center. She was taken there from her home in Iowa. On Saturday at eleven in the morning, there will be a memorial service held in her honor to celebrate her life. The service will take place at the Weerts Funeral Home. Beginning at nine in the morning and continuing all the way up until the time of the service, the family will be available to meet and greet friends. The private burial service will take place at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, which is the location of the cemetery. In lieu of sending flowers or sending a sympathy card, you may give the family a donation in honor of the person who passed away.

On April 5, 1939, in the town of Prairieton, Indiana, Everett and Marguerite (Myles) Lynch became parents for the first time. They named their daughter Janet. In 1961, she tied the knot with Samuel L. Cox, and the two of them started their married life together. On April 4, 2018, he passed away before she did. She did not survive him.

Janet placed a high value on the straightforward pleasures that came her way in life. The times that she spent tending to her flower gardens in the backyard brought her the most joy. She took great pleasure in looking at the different birds, animals, and people who were walking their dogs in the park. She was a fantastic cook, and she made certain that her family and friends were never going to go hungry while they were in her company. She made sure that they always had something delicious to eat when they were with her.

Surviving members of her family include her children Bradley (Ronda) Cox, Julie (Jeffrey) Pethoud, Wendy Cox (and her Kitties), and JR (Julie) Cox; grandchildren Jessica, Amanda, Rachel, Cloe, Bailey, Michael, Derek, and Stephanie; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Steve (Karen) Lynch; special family member Jenny Ubel; and numerous nieces, nephews, and very special friends. She is also survived She has also been preserved. Her husband, their son, William Cox, as well as her very special furry best friend Katie, all passed away before she did. Her parents also passed away before she did.
