James Jaramillo Obituary, Death – On December 17, 2022, Ames Jackson Jaramillo, who was 34 years old, passed away unexpectedly at his home. His parents, Jim Jaramillo and Cindy Webb Jaramillo welcomed him into the world on January 24, 1988, in the city of Provo, Utah. James spent the first two years of his undergraduate education at UCLA before transferring to St. Louis University to complete his bachelor’s degree in history there. He graduated with honors. He played soccer at both universities, including participating in the national championship game during his freshman year.
During his senior year, he was named to the All-American team. 2017 marked the year that James wed Jena Peterson. They were blessed with a lovely child, Jayda Dawn Jaramillo, who is now 5 years old. After some time, they got a divorce. He also worked as a soccer trainer at JJ Soccer, which he owned as a small business. He had a genuine passion for his work and for each of the players he mentored.
A gifted trainer, coach, mentor, friend, father, son, brother, and nephew has passed away, and the soccer community has suffered a loss as a result. James displayed a level of skill that was truly remarkable out there on the playing field. He was an instrumental figure in the collegiate careers of a number of Utah’s most accomplished athletes at the high school and collegiate levels. He was most well-known for his hilariously contagious sense of humor and his ability to make other people laugh. James was held in extremely high esteem for his athletic prowess, and he imparted his deep love of and enthusiasm for sports to each and every student he instructed.
His daughter Jayda Jaramillo, who was 5 years old at the time, was his greatest love. He would spend hours upon hours playing with her. They enjoyed activities such as playing in the snow, going swimming, participating in games, and dancing. He took her to all of the playgrounds in the area. She had a lot of fun playing soccer, and she especially enjoyed it when her father coached her team. He made it a point to spend some time with her every day engaging in playful activity.
His paternal grandparents, Jerry and Helen Jaramillo, and his maternal grandparents, Dawn and Cliff Webb, passed away before he was born. His parents, Cindy and Jim Jaramillo, are among those who have survived. Malerie Jaramillo of Orem and Danielle Jaramillo Burgar (Josh Burgar), both of Parker, Colorado, are his surviving sisters. He also leaves behind two nieces named Aria and Delaney Burgar. Jayda Jaramillo is his daughter, and he adored her more than anything else in the world. May you rest in peace, James. You were deeply loved, and our hearts will continue to ache until we can all be together again as a family.
The Heatheridge Stake Center in Orem is going to be the location of the memorial services. 450 East 2000 North is the location in question. The visitation will get underway at 10:00 AM, and the funeral services will get under way at 11:00 AM. The funeral service will be followed by a service at the graveside, which will take place at the Orem City Cemetery.
