Dan Asmus Obituary, Death – The members of the Harrisburg Singers are heartbroken to learn of the passing of one of our own, Dan Asmus, and they want to express their condolences to Dan’s family. Dan was a member of the group for many years. Over the course of his 23 years of service to our organization, Dan was not only a singer but also the assistant director and the leader of the bass section.
His dedication to our organization was absolute and unequivocal from the beginning. Not only will we greatly miss his presence in the bass section, but also his friendship, support, and leadership will be greatly missed as well. We will all miss him very much here at the company. We count it as a blessing that we were able to work musically with Dan for such a significant portion of time because he was such an important member of our Singers family and we worked together for such a long period of time.
We are going to miss having him here with us. An image of Dan singing, which was one of his greatest passions in life, can be found in an image that was taken in April of the year prior, and this is the image that was shared. It is a breathtaking portrait of Dan singing, which was one of his greatest passions in life. I really hope that you are able to get some much-needed rest soon, Dan.
One of the most heartbreaking things that can happen to a person on this earth is the death of a loved one. Everyone who is going through a difficult time as a result of this death is currently in our thoughts and prayers as we go through this difficult time. There must always be a destination at the end of each and every journey. The person’s journey on earth has sadly come to an end now that they have passed away; their time spent here is over.
