Lloyd Jensen Obituary, Salthawk Football coach Lloyd Jensen has died

Lloyd Jensen Obituary, Death – Lloyd Jensen III, age 45, from Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away on the 24th of December, 2022 at his home. On March 20, 1977, in the city of Newton, he was brought into the world by his parents, Lloyd and Brenda (Perkins) Jensen Jr. Lloyd attended Central Christian Schools for his elementary, middle, and high school education. He then went on to earn an associate’s degree from Western International University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Since 1999, he had been employed at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility, where he eventually became a Corrections Manager II.

In addition to his passion for fishing, Lloyd enjoyed spending time with his sons while they played football and baseball. He had a strong devotion to Jesus Christ, which was demonstrated by his active participation at Crossroads Christian Church, where he was a lead elder, worked in the youth and children’s ministries, and participated on the worship team. His faith was also evident in his personal life.

In Hutchinson, on the 31st of December in 1998, Lloyd tied the knot with Michelle D. Kaegi. She will live on. Also, surviving are his mother, Brenda Jensen of Hutchinson; his father and mother-in-law, Mike and Sheila Kaegi of South Hutchinson; his sister-in-law, Melissa and Joe Burgey of Hutchinson; his nephew and niece, Mason and Caitlyn Burgey; and a number of extended family members. His father had already passed away when he was born.

The cremation process has been completed. A memorial service will be held at Crossroads Christian Church on Friday, December 30, 2022, at 10 a.m. The church is located at 4310 N. Monroe Street in Hutchinson. The worship service will be broadcast live on the church’s website, which is located at ccchutch.com. Friends are welcome to sign the memorial book at Elliott Mortuary from Tuesday through Thursday, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
