Christina Citarella Obituary, Death – It has been reported that a woman from Bayville, New Jersey, who was involved in a collision that took place on the Garden State Parkway in South Toms River on Friday evening, passed away as a result of the injuries that she sustained in the accident. The neighborhood of South Toms River is where the event is said to have taken place, as stated by the police.
According to the State Police, Christina M. Citarella, 40, was driving her Toyota Camry northbound in the left lane around 6:30 p.m. when it went off the road near milepost 80.7, hit two sign supports and split in half. She was reportedly driving in the left lane when the accident occurred. The collision occurred in the area immediately adjacent to the intersection of the two lanes of traffic.
After that, the front end of the vehicle re-entered the parkway, continued across all three lanes, and then collided with a Jeep Renegade that was traveling in the lane that was the furthest to the right of the parkway. Citarella was reportedly ejected from her vehicle as a direct result of the earlier collision.
Which, according to the statements made by the police, was the cause of the incident. It has been reported that the investigation into what caused the accident is still ongoing; however, the State Police have stated that they do not have any additional information that they can share at this time.
