Sean Anderson Obituary, Death – Sean Anderson, age 61, of Rochester, New York, and formerly of Olean, New York, was found dead in Rochester on Tuesday, under strange circumstances. Sean Anderson was a former resident of Olean, New York. The 18th of March, 1961 found him being brought into the world in Westfield as the offspring of Robert F. Anderson and Winifred J. “Wendy” Maue Anderson Wetzel. His full name was Robert F. Anderson Wetzel.

Sean graduated from Olean High School with the class of 1979 and was a member of the school’s honor roll. In the year 1983, he graduated with a diploma from SUNY Maritime Academy, which is located in the Bronx. After Sean graduated from high school, he joined the United States Naval Reserves and served in that capacity for a period of 10 years. During that time, he was always on call and prepared for deployment to active duty.

While Sean was off exploring the world, he obtained experience working in a variety of nautical jobs and on a variety of vessels, all with the intention of eventually reaching his dream of becoming a captain. His final place of employment was with Crowley, where he held the position of tugboat captain in Alaska. During that time period, he held down a job. During his downtime on the ship, Sean would often choose to read as one of his top activities to engage in.

Those who are still alive include his mother, who resided in Fairport, a sister named Kim Anderson Campbell, who remained in Rochester, a brother named Ross Anderson, who resided in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as five of his nieces and nephews. His father passed away when he was a young boy.

The death of Sean’s father occurred before the death of Sean himself. In accordance with the directives that Sean left behind, there will be no public viewings or funeral rites done in his honor. The burial will take place in the ocean.

The responsibility of caring for Sean and making arrangements for his cremation has been given by Sean’s family to Kevin J. Dusenbury, who is a funeral director and the proprietor of the Virgil L.
