Ray Tucker Obituary, Death – Ray Tucker a resident of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at his residence. On the Camp LeJeune Marine Corps Base in Jacksonville, North Carolina, Ray Tucker, the son of Thomas Tucker and Lou Ann Smith Tucker, was born. Ray was the son of Thomas Tucker and Lou Ann Smith Tucker. He graduated from Waldron High School and then went on to complete his education at the University of Arkansas, earning a degree in the process. During the course of his career at Blytheville High School, Ray coached the football team for a combined total of 28 years.

After that, he remained employed at Skyline Steel for the subsequent seven years of his professional life until he finally decided to retire. In addition to his other interests, which included running, reading, and playing pool, Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church. His other interests included playing pool. Ray placed a high value on the time he was able to spend with his family, particularly the time he was able to spend with his grandchildren.

His parents died before he did in this life, so he never got to meet them. Ray’s family includes his wife, Pat Davis Tucker, who resides in the same location as him; his sons, Trey Tucker and his wife Melissa of Sterling, Virginia, and Nicholaus Tucker of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Levi Blake Tucker and Vivienne Elaine Tucker; and his sisters, Jo Ann Tyler of Springdale, Arkansas, and Connie Jean Janczys of Rogers, Arkansas.

The Cobb Funeral Home will be open for visitation on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 starting at five o’clock in the afternoon and continuing until seven o’clock in the evening. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of their loved one to either the Blytheville High School Scholarship Fund or the First Baptist Church Library.
