Neely Murray Obituary, Death – On December 20, 2022, at about 5:34 p.m., police officers responded to the area of Piper Road and Monastery Avenue after receiving reports of a collision involving an automobile and a pedestrian. The incident was reported to have occurred. According to the reports, the incident did take place. It appears that the incident did take place as described in the papers. The female pedestrian, who was 25 years old, was sent to the hospital after being engaged in the incident; however, she did not survive her injuries and ultimately passed away. The pedestrian was out walking with her dog at the time of the collision; regrettably, the dog did not make it through the ordeal owing to the injuries he sustained as a result of the encounter, and the pedestrian did not make it through the crash either.
Both of them were killed in the collision. The driver of the vehicle came to a stop on the shoulder of the road, and ever since that point, they have been communicating with law enforcement personnel and supplying them with information. The Accident Reconstruction Team of the West Springfield Police Department, in partnership with the Office of the Hampden District Attorney, is currently responsible for supervising the investigation as it continues to go forward. They are the ones accountable for taking the helm and conducting the inquiry that is currently being carried out. In addition to disseminating more information, the Hampden District Attorney’s Office will make a public announcement revealing the victim’s identity.
