Ahkeyra Rayson Obituary, Death – According to the authorities, the body of a lady was found on Thursday morning in the Upstate at the residence where she had been residing before she was found dead there. The location of the person who had passed away was not made public. Sonny Cox, the coroner for Greenwood County, stated that it appeared as though Ahkeyra Phylann Rayson, who was 22 years old and lived in Columbia, passed away from what appeared to be a single gunshot wound. Rayson’s death was ruled a homicide. The cause of death of Rayson was “undetermined,” as stated in the obituary for him.
In addition, he mentioned that an autopsy will be performed the following week, which was exactly one week after the incident that had taken place. Shortly after one in the morning, officers from the Greenwood Police Department responded to a call of shots being fired at the apartments situated at 314 Cambridge Ave. East. The caller said that the bullets were coming from the flats. According to Deputy Chief T.J. Chaudoin of the Greenwood Police Department, an investigation into the incident that was reported was carried out by the department. According to the reports, the event involved someone shooting shots at the location in question.
Following the completion of some research, I came to the conclusion that the Burfield Apartments are the area in question, and that the management is currently being questioned regarding the occurrence. According to Chaudoin’s account, Rayson was found with gunshot wounds inside of a bedroom, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the crime shortly after his discovery. The assertions that Chaudoin has made are backed up by the evidence that is now available. While his statement was being taken, he said that inquiries were being conducted with a possible suspect in connection with the event. These inquiries were being carried out at the time his statement was being recorded.
