Tommy Smith Obituary, Tommy Smith Has Passed Away Unexpectedly

Tommy Smith Obituary, Death – Thomas Steven Smith, a McQueeney, Texas resident, died on December 11, 2022, at the age of 68. He is now sitting with Our Lord and is no longer in pain. Gerald Walter Smith Sr. and Lillian Lee Smith, his mother and father, were both gone, as were his two brothers, Gerald Walter Smith Jr. and Patrick Wayne Smith, his sister, Debra Ann Johnson, and his daughter (in his heart), Denae Erin Enfinger.

His wife of 48 years, Linda Marie Smith, survives him; his brother Michael Ray (Mike) Smith and his wife Linda of Celina, Texas; his sister Dana Lynn Hood and her husband Tracy of Seguin, Texas; his brother James Allen (Jimmy) Smith and his wife Jeanne of Adkins, Texas; his brother Scott Matykiewicz and his wife Trish of McQueeney, Texas; and his children Steven Thomas Smith and his wife Stacey of Schertz, Texas. Michael Tommy had his second child after completing his service in the United States Navy. Following that, he began working as a truck driver alongside his father at Texas Test Fleet. Tommy’s third child was born soon after.

Throughout his career, he worked as a driver for a variety of firms; however, the company that hired him for the longest period of time was Parkway Transport (HEB), with whom he has been employed for the past 33 years. When he got together with his children, grandchildren, siblings, and in-laws, one of the things he most looked forward to doing was talking about his travel adventures and life memories. He had an unrivaled ability for storytelling, and his love for his family knew no bounds.

Funeral services will be performed beneath Shelter #2 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on December 30, 2022, at 1:15 p.m., situated at 1520 Harry Wurzbach Road in San Antonio, Texas 78209.
