Patrick White Obituary, Death – Patrick White, 42, a prominent North Carolina lawyer was shot to death by client in Goldsboro. According to the Goldsboro Police Department, Patrick White, an attorney with the firm Riddle and Brantley, was murdered on Monday by a client following a verbal disagreement between the two of them. At that point, the customer pulled the gun on himself. Police were called to the law offices at 601 N. Spence Ave. in Goldsboro at 4:15 p.m., according to WRAL. When they arrived, they found two men dead inside the building from apparent gunshot wounds.
The shooter’s identity has not been revealed, and no information about a possible motive is available at this time. A spokesman for Riddle and Brantley told The Post that she is unable to comment on the incident. Riddle and Brantley is a personal injury legal firm with 10 offices located throughout the eastern section of North Carolina. White obtained his law degree from West Virginia University and has been in active legal practice since 2005, according to the biography page on the Riddle and Brantley website.
