Daniel Barrone Obituary, Death – A fatal car accident took the life of Daniel Barrone Jr., the adult son of the previous mayor of Taos, who was a passenger in the vehicle that was engaged in the collision that took his father’s life. According to the information that came in from the authorities, the truck that was involved in the rollover accident that took place on Monday was driven by Daniel Barrone Jr., who is 36 years old. This particular piece of information has been covered by a great number of news organizations. Deputies from Taos County, New Mexico, arrived at the scene on United States Highway 64 just before two in the afternoon. There, they discovered a logging truck that had been in an accident.
The results of the inquiry indicate that the younger Barrone was the only one in the truck at the time of the accident, which took place on a curve in the road. According to the statements made by Sheriff Jerry L. Hogrefe, it does not appear that either excessive speeding or impairment played a factor in the occurrence. At this time, there is still ongoing investigation of the variables that contributed to its occurrence. Barrone was elected to the position of mayor in 2018, and he has been serving in that capacity into this year as well. In addition to that, he worked for the state of California’s legislature in the years 2020 and 2021. He was a member of the Assembly.
On behalf of the whole Taos community, the current mayor, Pascualito Maestas, expressed his condolences and prayed for the deceased on the Facebook page that is dedicated to the Municipality of Taos. He went on to say that everyone in the town was praying for his predecessor as well as his family when he was in office. According to Maestas, Barrone Jr. had a very big heart and was always willing to provide a helping hand to whoever was in need of it.
