Linda Hess Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, December 14, 2022, Linda Marie Hess, who had resided in Rochester Hills, Michigan for her whole life and had reached the age of 60, passed suddenly. She made her debut into the world on September 10th, 1962, in the city of Detroit, which is located within the state of Michigan. After completing her studies at Bishop Gallagher High School, Linda attended Wayne State University and the University of Detroit to earn her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Master of Science in Chemistry degrees. Both of these degrees were earned after she completed her studies at Wayne State University. On November 1st, 1986, Linda and John Hess tied the knot and became husband and wife. Their wedding was attended by family and friends. Her long and fruitful career was spent working in Materials Engineering for both Ford and Chrysler.
She was quite successful in this field. Her hobbies included working out, being a mentor, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She was also active in the Hearing Loss Association of Michigan, where she held the position of Vice President and served on the Board of Directors. Additionally, she served as the chairwoman for the Walk4Hearing event. In addition to John, the loving partner she had spent the previous 36 years sharing her life with, Linda is survived by her children, Ryan and Dr. Andrea Hess, as well as her brother, Peter Galat. John was the dedicated spouse she had shared her life with for the previous 36 years.
On the evening of Tuesday, December 20, 2022, there will be a visitation for Linda at the Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, beginning at 4:00 PM and continuing until 8:00 PM. The visitation will last for the entirety of that day. On the following date and time, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at eleven in the morning, there will be a funeral service held at the same location. Donations to the Arthritis Foundation or the Hearing Loss Association of America are being solicited in lieu of traditional floral tributes at the family’s request.
