Kayla Fuhrman Obituary, Death – Kayla Fuhrman died on April 29, 2006, after being born on May 19, 1955, and was fifty years old at the time of her death. She was highly regarded in all of her roles, including wife, mother, daughter, and sister. She had completed her high school education at Red Land in 1997, graduating with her class, and had been employed by PPL since the same year. Part-time jobs were found for her at The Sharp Shopper in Middletown and Karns Food Store in New Cumberland. These two establishments are both in Cumberland.
Nancy’s mother, Jane Wolfe Byerly of Lewisberry, and her husband, Mark E. Fuhrman of Lewisberry; her son, Travis M. Fuhrman and his wife of Etters; and her daughter-in-law, who is the mother of her son’s wife, are among those who can carry on Nancy’s legacy.

Her devoted father, Richard P. Byerly, who had lived in Lewisberry before moving to Lewisburg, had died before Nancy. She is also survived by her brother, Fred R. Byerly, and his wife, both of whom live in Lewisberry; and by her sister, Christy A. Wickard, and her husband, both of whom live in New Cumberland. Her parents predeceased her. Nancy also has a nephew, a niece, four great-nephews, and two great-nieces who will miss her greatly. She also has four wonderful nephews and two wonderful nieces.

Nancy’s life will be remembered at the Shiremanstown United Methodist Church, which can be found at 125 East Main Street in Shiremanstown. The memorial service will be held to commemorate her life and legacy. The service will begin at six o’clock in the evening on Thursday, May 4, 2006, and will be followed by a visitation. The service and visitation dates and times are listed below. At this time, the Stone & Murray Funeral Home in New Cumberland is in charge of making the necessary arrangements.
