John Giles Obituary, Delaware US, Former Elsmere Chief of Police Has Died

John Giles Obituary, Death – The town of Elsmere is in deep mourning after learning that John Giles, who had worked for the town of Elsmere in the past as both the Chief of Police and the Town Manager, passed away not too long ago. The news was received with great dismay by the town. 1978 was the year that John began his career with the Elsmere Police Department, which he had joined the year before for the purpose of becoming a police officer. In 1998, he retired after having served as Chief of Police at the department for several years before stepping down from that position.

John was given the position of Town Manager for the Town of Elsmere in the year 2002, and he remained in that role until the year 2022, which was also the year that marked the conclusion of his professional career. Mr. Giles devoted himself to the Town of Elsmere in a variety of capacities over the course of forty years, serving in that capacity throughout that time. During this trying time, we want his family to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers, and that they are in our thoughts and that we are thinking about them. We also want them to know that we are thinking about them.

George, I am sad to learn that you have gone through a time of loss. Because I have experienced the same thing, I am able to sympathize with people who are going through the pain of losing a sibling. I really hope that you are eventually able to locate some peace in your life. Our deepest condolences, thoughts, and prayers go out to Laura, Johnny, and the rest of their family, as well as to Blood and Blue (Elsmere Police Department) and Elsmere Fire Department, as well as the entirety of the town of Elsmere. We are truly sorry for the loss of life that has been caused by this tragedy. We are deeply sorry for the loss you have suffered.
