Beth Rothberg Obituary, Death – Beth Avery Rothberg, 49, of Rochester, New York has sadly passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Beth was an elementary teacher at Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District. We learnt of Beth ‘s passing through a statement issued by the Phelps-Clifton Springs CSD Superintendent “Our school community has suffered a tremendous loss.
We are deeply saddened to share that Beth Rothberg, an elementary school teacher, has died unexpectedly due to medical complications”.

Beth attended the State University of New York College at Oswego from 1992 to 1996, where she got a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as well as a French language degree. She then earned a Master of Science degree in Elementary Study and Teaching from the State University of New York at Brockport, where she finished her education. She then attended Nazareth College, where she earned her New York State Certification as a Literacy Specialist and completed her postgraduate studies.

She worked at The Sutherland Group LTD, with headquarters in Rochester, New York, from June 1997 to September 2000, when she was promoted to Account Executive. Her employment with that company lasted a total of three years and four months. She then became a teacher for the Greece Central School District in Greece, New York, where she worked for 5 years and 7 months, beginning in September 2001 and ending in March 2007. Her employment there lasted from September 2001 to March 2007. She began working with Direct2 Market Sales Solutions in East Rochester, New York in October 2010 and held the position of group leader until January 2015.

Her tenure there lasted four years and four months. She then worked as the Skating Director at Lake Country Skating School before becoming the LTS for the Churchville-Chili Central School District.  She then went to work for the Churchville-Chili Central School District. She began her career as a reading teacher at Brockport Central School District for ten months before becoming a figure skating coach at Rochester Ice Center and Thomas Creek Figure Skating Club in Fairport, New York, where she worked for twenty-five years and some months. She also spent 10 months as a reading teacher at Brockport Central School District. She served as a Reading Teacher for the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District at Midlakes Intermediate School for a total of 6 years and 5 months.
