Tyler Rogers Obituary, Death – Bulls Gap resident Tyler James Rogers, age 22, was found to be the victim of an industrial accident that took place on December 14 at the Cardinal Glass Plant in Church Hill. The incident resulted in the man’s death. Wednesday morning, an employee of a subcontractor working at the Cardinal Glass plant in Church Hill was fatally injured in an industrial accident that occurred at the Cardinal Glass plant.

First responders were sent to the Cardinal Glass Plant in Church Hill at 8:04 in the morning on Wednesday. The Cardinal Glass Plant is located at 700 Cardinal Way. Radio transmissions from Hawkins County Central Dispatch indicated that an employee had been killed when they were crushed by machinery. Cardinal Glass later confirmed that the worker had been killed, but neither the worker’s name nor any details regarding the incident that led to his death were made public.

We have offered any possible assistance to the subcontractor for whom this person worked, as well as to the first responders who arrived on the scene quickly, and we have been in contact with both groups. We will support those members of our team who have been affected by this tragic accident and collaborate with those who are investigating this event to help understand what happened and why it occurred.
