Steven Gillis Obituary, Death – Steven Anthony Gillis, who resided in Savannah, Georgia, unexpectedly passed away at his home on December 12, 2022. He was 33 years old at the time of his death. Steven J. Gillis and Kathleen S. Gillis, his parents, both of whom have passed away, raised their son Steven in Savannah, Georgia, where he was born and raised. After graduating from Johnson High School with his high school diploma, he continued his education by obtaining a certificate in Culinary Arts at Johnson. Following his enrollment in Abilities Unlimited, Steven took part in the powerlifting competitions that were made available by the organization. In the form of Pennie and Tommy Lightfoot, as well as Jim Chaplin, who served as his personal trainer, he was able to amass a second family.
Steven was selected as the Georgia Special Olympic Athlete of the Month for the month of February 2018, which took place in 2018.
