He had lived in the neighborhood for a significant amount of time. On April 12, 1942, he was born in Canastota, New York, to the late Eugene Moore and the late Ruth Fromey Moore, both of whom had passed away previously. Sonny was a dedicated farmer who owned his own farm in the Canastota area and worked the land with his own two hands. His life revolved entirely around the farm.

He enjoyed a variety of pastimes and activities, such as going hunting with his brother-in-law John, fishing, riding motorcycles, especially his Harley, racing fast vehicles, and riding snowmobiles. He also had a passion for fishing. In addition to that, he was an avid person who enjoyed being on the water in boats. His sister Beverly “B” Moore and both of his parents, Eugene and Ruth Moore, had passed away before he was even born. His parents passed away before he was even born.

Sonny is survived by his partner of a lifetime, Dawn Hebble, who resides in Blossvale; his son, Mark Moore (and his wife, Sandy), who resides in Indiana; his daughter, Minda Moore, who resides in New York; and extended family members Ron Hebble (and his wife, Sue); Keith Chase (and his wife, Jen); and Dianne Chase (and her husband, Lonny Snyder), who all reside in Watertown. All of these people are related to Sonny. Along with a lot of grandchildren, he is survived by his accomplice in crime Riley, his canine companion Frankie, and his sister Ruth (John) Halsey, who lives in Chittenango.

The date and time of the graveside services will be communicated to those who are attending in the spring. It has been decided that the interment will take place in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Camden, New York. Arrangements are in care of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Camden, NY. Instead of sending flowers, the family has asked for donations to be sent to Hospice and Palliative Care, which can be found at 4227 Middle Settlement Road in New Hartford, New York 13413.
