Sarah Danger Obituary, Death – The news of Sarah Danger Underhill’s passing has left me in a state of complete and utter devastation.
Sarah was the most compassionate and encouraging person one could ever hope to meet. She was the most stylish person in any room because to the fact that she was constantly dressed to the nines. I took this picture as well as the video the very first time we met, which was in Baltimore when we played a gig together around 5 years ago.
When MALLWALKER played for us, they completely blew all of us away, and after that, seeing and hanging out with Sarah became something that I eagerly anticipated whenever I would be in the Baltimore area playing music or driving bands. It didn’t take long for us to become fast friends, and I’m so glad that I drove that @leopardo.band tour this past summer (for many reasons), but one of the biggest reasons is that we got to hang out with you in Baltimore and at @gonerfest.
It’s hard for me to imagine that this will be the last time you send me a surprise text message, accompanied by a photo of yourself wearing an outrageous outfit and an invitation to visit you the next time I’m in town so that we may rummage through your closet while playing dress-up. You never failed to put a smile on my face, and I shall miss our interactions very much. I’m very sorry that we weren’t able to act on your message from a few months ago, which said, “someone start a synth punk band with me before I die.” I feel terrible that we didn’t do that.
Please let me know if anyone has any information on memorial or funeral services. In the event that there is in fact anything that can be done to lend a hand during this trying time, I would be more than happy to assist in any manner that is conceivable.
