Marlys Hopwood Obituary, Death – Marlys Hopwood was a member of Unit 296 who sadly passed away as a result of unplanned and unfortunate events. Our hearts break for her family and friends, and we want to extend to each and every one of them our deepest condolences and sympathies during this difficult time. During the time that she lived in Deep River, Marlys was an active participant in the life of the local church in addition to the smaller community there. In addition to this, she was an involved member of the community in general.
She was a mother who had served in the military and embodied everything that the American Legion Auxiliary is all about. She was a member of the organization. She joined the American Legion Auxiliary at one point in her life. As a member of the group, she took part in the activities that were going on. She took part in the activities that were going on because she was a member of the group that was doing them.
