Harvey Burdick Obituary, Death – On Thursday, my mom’s husband, Harvey Burdick, who was sweet, funny, and intellectually rigorous, loved playing tennis, making guacamole, mixing margaritas, sharing books, and debating anything and everything, passed away while sleeping in his bed. Harvey Burdick loved playing tennis, making guacamole, mixing margaritas, sharing books, and debating anything and everything. Harvey’s favorite activities included preparing guacamole and margaritas, as well as playing tennis. He was as sharp as a tack right up until the moment he passed away and making jokes thanks to the excellent care that was provided by my mother during the last few weeks of his life.
He was making jokes right up until the moment he passed away. As I mentioned in my eulogy for Harvey, he had a wonderful life and also passed away in a wonderful way. Both of these things should be celebrated. I pray that each of us is blessed with such good fortune. (I would like to take this opportunity to show my appreciation to the many friends and family members who have helped me out in such a thoughtful and generous way. In particular, I would like to express my gratitude to the angel @linseylaidlaw for designing the program for my father’s funeral.
