Cassandra Leigh Obituary, Death – The incident took place on Sunday, December 18 around 9 o’clock in the evening in New Haven County, Connecticut, on southbound Interstate 91 close to Exit 9 in North Haven. It was the 18th of December at that time. Cassandra Leigh Carlson, a resident of North Haven, was driving a Subaru WRX Premium at the time of the accident, and according to the Connecticut State Police, she was in the left-center lane when she collided with a Honda Accord that was traveling in front of her at a high rate of speed. Carlson was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Cassandra Leigh Carlson was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after the incident. Carlson walked away from the collision unscathed by any of its aftereffects.
According to witnesses, the impact caused both vehicles to lose control and crash into the metal guard rail before the collision. The state police were the ones who offered up this information. Carlson was reportedly ejected from the Subaru and onto the roadway, where he was subsequently run over by a tractor-trailer that was traveling in the left center lane at the time of the accident. The accident occurred when Carlson was traveling in the left center lane. The State Police looked into what happened and made their findings public. It has been reported that she was discovered to be dead at the scene of the incident, and a death pronouncement has been made with regard to her.
The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with a handful of minor injuries, according to the police, whereas the driver of the tractor-trailer was not taken to the hospital with any injuries. As a result of the collision, the highway was closed to traffic on both sides for a period of several hours; however, it has since reopened to vehicles on both sides of the road.
