Liza Rector Obituary, A Resident of Springhill, Nova Has Died

Liza Rector Obituary, Death – We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to the Rector family on the passing of Liza Thresa Rector, who was 90 years old and lived in Springhill, Nova Scotia. Our warmest condolences go out to the Rector family. Liza, who was staying at the Gables Lodge in Amherst at the time of her death on December 16th, 2022, passed away. She was born in Minto, New Brunswick, and she was the daughter of the late Joseph Hachey and Philonene (Boucher) Hachey. Both of her parents passed away before she was born.

Throughout her entire life, Liza was actively involved in the life of the Anglican Church. She was skilled in the kitchen and also enjoyed tending to her garden, sewing, crocheting, and knitting. Above all, however, she treasured the time she could spend with her loved ones. Her children Nancy Haley (David) of Springhill, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick; her grandchildren Angela (Matt) London and David (Amanda) Haley; her great-grandchildren Madison, JJ, and Eric; her brothers Leonard (Helen), Norman (Margaret), Leo, John (Patsy), Gerald (Arlene), and Ivan (Helen); in addition to a number of nieces and nephews; will miss her terribly

She was predeceased by her children Joanne and Cathy, as well as her sisters Thresa Hachey, Yvonne Dupuis, and Julie Cove. Her husband Reginald also passed away before her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse at the time of their marriage. The A. H. Brown Funeral Home in Springhill, which is located at 5 McFarlane Street and can be reached at (902) 597-2361, will be hosting a visitation on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from noon to 2:00 pm.

This event is scheduled to take place on the day after the deceased’s funeral. On the same day, the funeral service for her will get underway at 2:00 pm, and Pastor Alexander (Sasha) Cheprasov will preside over the proceedings. Hillside Cemetery in Springhill will be the location where the deceased individual is laid to rest at a later period. You are free to make memorial contributions in Liza’s name to any charity of your choosing. Please note that the contributions will be made in Liza’s name.
