Jessica Gretz Obituary, Death – Jessica Gretz of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has unexpectedly passed away. Jessica was on February 18th born in the city of Carrollton. Johnny and Debbie (Perra) Gretz are her parents. She began her scholastic career at R.E. Good Elementary School in Carrollton, then transferred to Dewitt Perry Middle School, and finally to Newman Smith High School, where she graduated in 2004. Jessica was actively involved in both the theater and the orchestra while at Newman Smith.
She was a member of the orchestra for four years and played the violin in every concert. She was also an active member in an after-school program that aided pupils with a range of obstacles in realizing their full potential. She began her tertiary education as soon as she received her high school diploma, enrolling in Northlake Junior College to complete the prerequisite classes before transferring to the University of Texas at Arlington to get a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2011. She had 10 years of experience as a registered nurse at the time of our conversation, all of which she had spent at Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Jessica discovered a spiritual home at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Farmers Branch, Texas. She had her christening, initiation into the Catholic faith, and adult confirmation in the Catholic faith there. Jessica thoroughly enjoyed traveling to upscale restaurants, shopping, exploring new places, camping, fishing, hunting, skeet shooting, tubing down rivers with her pals, and trying out new gourmet restaurants. The ability to assist others offered her the most delight, and she took great pride in the fact that she was able to do so in her position as a nurse. She treasured the times she could spend with those she cared about, both family and friends.
Her infant brother, Jason Gretz, her maternal grandparents, Andrew and Betsy Perra, and her paternal grandparents, Johnny and Pauline Gretz, have all died. Her immediate family has only one survivor. Jessica is the only surviving member of her immediate family. Her parents, Johnny and Debbie Gretz of Penelope, her brother, Jeremy Gretz of Carrollton, her boyfriend, John Wayne Straps, and a huge number of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends survived her. Johnny and Debbie Gretz were residents of Penelope. Carrollton was home to Jeremy Gretz. Penelope was where her folks resided.
