Jackie Mann Obituary, Death – On December 17th, at the age of 72, Jackie D. Mann, a citizen of Jamestown who had spent his entire life in the area, passed away at his home. He had been a resident of Jamestown his entire life. Both of Jackie’s parents, Elsie (Warriner) Mann and John R. Mann, had passed away prior to their son’s birth on February 11, 1950 in Jamestown, Kentucky. Jackie was named after his mother. Jackie was the son of his mother, who passed away, and his father, who also passed away. During the period that the United States was involved in the Vietnam War, he was a member of the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Deloris (Bell) Mann, of Jamestown, Kentucky; a daughter, Jennifer Jones, also of Jamestown, Kentucky; a brother, Jimmy (Judy) Mann, also of Jamestown, Kentucky; and he is also survived by three grandchildren, namely Holli Jones, Mackenzie (Dillon) Maynard, and Logan Long, in addition to a large number of nieces, nephews, and other members of his extended family.  His parents, his son Brent Mann, his son Stevie Mann, two of his sisters, Mary Mann and Judy Crays, and three of his brothers, Stevie, Gary, and Billy Mann, all passed away before he did. His son Stevie Mann was the only member of his family to survive his death. His mother and father were named Mary and Stevie Mann, and he had a son named Brent.

Funeral services will be held at the H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, Kentucky, on the 22nd of December at 11:00 AM local time. Brother Wendell Roberts is going to preside over the service as the officiant. On Wednesday, December 21, commencing at 5:00 PM, friends and family are welcome to pay their respects at the H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, Kentucky. This event is being held in honor of the deceased. An interment was place at the Jamestown Cemetery, accompanied by military honors carried out by the Russell County Honor Guard.
