Hallie Phillips Obituary, Death – Hallie Elizabeth Phillips, age 20, from Wardsville, Missouri, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing. She was born in Jefferson City on January 17, 2002, to parents Lance Phillips and Angie (Oligschlaeger) Phillips. Her birthday is January 17. Her mother had kept the Oligschlaeger family name after she married. It was anticipated that she would graduate from Blair Oaks High School in the year 2020. During that time period, Hallie was a student at the University of Missouri, where she was majoring in Animal Science. She had a fierce passion for all kinds of animals, but horses held a particularly important place in her heart.
Hallie was a skilled competitor in the barrel racing scene, and she cherished the time she got to spend with the horses. She radiated vitality on top of being intuitive, genuine, exciting, and REAL all at the same time. Hallie’s smile was one of the most infectious ones I’d ever seen in a person. She was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend in addition to being a caring older sister to her younger siblings. Her other siblings looked up to her as a role models. Hallie continues to shine her light by participating in the organ donation program so that she can give the gift of life to other people.
Hallie is survived by her parents, Kenny and Alice Oligschlaeger, Carolyn and Mike Brune, and Vicki Phillips; her siblings, Chace and Sommer Phillips, Alexis, Carter, and Dane Bremer; and a large number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her grandparents are Kenny and Alice Oligschlaeger, Carolyn and Mike Brune, and Vicki Phillips. Her grandfather, Jim Phillips, had passed away prior to her passing. Her grandfather passed away before she was born. At this time, a Celebration of Life is scheduled to take place at the Capital Bluffs Event Center on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from three in the afternoon until eight in the evening.
