Wanda Shoults Obituary, Death – Wanda Berniece (Patton) Shoults, 89 years old, passed away on December 15, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a resident of Summersville, Missouri. She was the daughter of James Alfred Patton and Mary Ina (Sykes) Patton and was born on July 31st, 1933 in the town of Ink, Missouri. On May 8, 1954, Wanda and Gerald Dewain Shoults exchanged vows and became husband and wife. The union of these two people resulted in the birth of three sons: Michael Dewain, Bradley Gerald, and Richard Allen.

Before coming to the farm in 1983, she was a resident of St. Louis and Arnold, Missouri, in the state of Missouri. After that, in 2004, she relocated to Summersville. When she moved to Summersville, Wanda joined the First Baptist Church there. Previously, she attended Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Arnold. Wanda took an immense amount of satisfaction in maintaining the appearance of her garden and yard. She took care of her plants and flowers, but when she wasn’t doing that, she made sure the grass didn’t become too tall! Her favorite thing to do was spoil her grandchildren and spend time with her family. This brought her the greatest joy.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dewain Shoults; her parents, Alfred and Ina Patton; her brothers, Louis Patton, Vernon Patton, Larry Patton, and James (Jack) Patton; and her sisters, Dorothy Winkleman and Lois Jean Patton. Her parents and brothers and sisters all passed away before she did. Wanda is survived by her sons Michael and wife Teresa, Bradley and wife Vicki, and Richard and wife Cindy; four grandchildren, Melinda and husband David, their daughters Madelynn and Sophia and son Liam, Jason and wife Amanda, their daughters Annabella, Adelaide, and AnaLise and sons, Jayden, Jeremiah, and Jonah; Rebecca and her daughter Finley; Melissa and husband Matt, their daughter Ava, and sons Ryan and Lucas; and her sister Patricia and husband Frank Everyone who knew and loved her will miss her in a profound way after her passing.
