Ruchi Patel Obituary, Death – On Thursday, December 15, 2022, in her residence in Wellington, Florida, Ruchi N. Patel, age 31, who had formerly resided in Berlin, Connecticut, passed tragically unexpectedly. She was the daughter of Niranjankumar and Manisha Patel and was born in New Britain, Connecticut on February 5, 1991. She was reared in Berlin, and she received her high school diploma from Berlin High School in 2009. Ruchi continued her studies after graduating from high school by enrolling at the University of Connecticut, where she earned a degree in management. During her time at UConn, she was a member of the Indian dance team Surya and eventually became the president of the group.

She participated in the United Technologies (UTC) Financial Leadership Program after completing an internship there while she was a student at the University of Connecticut. After working for a period, she returned to school to receive her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts Amherst’s Business School. She had worked her way up through the ranks and was now the senior financial manager at Carrier Corporation in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she had been employed for the last three years. In 2018, Ruchi was residing in Connecticut when she was introduced to Emmitt Clark. The young pair became engaged on August 19, 2022, having rapidly fallen in love with one another.

They fostered multiple kittens together, including their own three cats, Babu, Bebu, and Caramel Swirl. They shared a passion for rescuing animals with one another and did it together. Watching movies about superheroes, eating sweets, and playing games with her family and friends were some of Ruchi’s favorite things to do in her spare time. She was the life of the party and had a passion for the latest trends in clothing and makeup, as well as music and dancing.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she is survived by her two sisters, Avani Amin and her husband Dev of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania, and Dhruvi Patel of Berlin, Connecticut; her grandparents, Vimalaben Patel of Berlin, Connecticut, and Sarojben and Ishwarbhai Patel of Surat, India; her paternal aunts and uncles, Vijaykumar and Rashmi Patel of Berlin, and Priti and Vija Her grandfather Gordhandas Patel, who was her father’s father, passed away before she was born. The members of her family will always remember Ruchi as a loving and generous person who never stopped showing her affection for others.

A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at 11 a.m. at the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, located at 807 Bloomfield Avenue in Windsor. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
