Marc Godfrey Obituary, Death – Our group is suffering from a tremendous sense of bereavement as a direct result of having to accept the reality that Marc Godfrey has passed away. Not only was Marc one of our closest friends, but he was also a previous member of our team’s coaching staff. We are going to miss him very, very much. Because he was a source of inspiration for each and every one of us, Marc will be dearly missed by all of us. Not only has Marc been an ardent supporter of our organization over the course of the past many years, but he has also made significant contributions to the general success of the club.
Marc was a part of the coaching staff that helped our women’s team when they won their first title in 2018, and he played a significant role in the triumph of our women’s team. Our women’s team won the championship for the very first time in 2018, making it the year 2018 that has this distinction. In 2019, Marc was given the chance to serve as the head coach of the women’s team after the opportunity was provided to him. He took full use of this chance by leading the squad all the way to the championship series, where they ended up coming in first place.
In spite of the fact that Marc resigned from his post as a coach in the year 2020, he continued to show his support for the women’s team by attending club matches and providing words of encouragement to them throughout the year. In this way, he demonstrated his commitment to the squad. He showed his dedication to the organization by participating in this activity.
Because we are aware that this must be a challenging time for Amy, Chris, and Kellie, we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers at all times. During this trying time, you can be sure that we will continue to keep them in our thoughts and prayers. At this very moment, people have an even greater requirement than they have ever had before for the protection and blessing that can only come from God.
