Henry Kelly Obituary Callahan FL, Henry Kelly has passed away

Henry Kelly Obituary, Death – Henry On December 12, 2022, our dearly cherished Papa Pat Pat Kelly passed away and went to be with the Lord. He forged his own way to the top of the business world and was responsible for building Kelly’s Countryside RV Park. Pat was well-known across the community of Nassau County as a kind, industrious man; a man who loved his family and was a fun-loving prankster. Pat was also well-known for his generosity. Pat was born on June 23rd, 1940 in the town of Bell in the state of Florida. His parents, Arthur and Ivera Kelly, as well as his sister, Helen Creamer, and three of his brothers, Ray Kelly, Malone Kelly, and Jack Kelly, had all passed away before him.

Pat is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Viola Frances Kelly; his three sons, Mike (Sonya) Kelly, Randy (Robin), and Marty (Patsi) Kelly; his daughter, Patti (Doug) Smith; his grandchildren, Joshua, Crescent, Tiffany, Kasie, Wendi, Matthew, Chelsea, Caitlin, Christopher, Colton; his great-grandchildren, Tyler, Harley, Hunter, Waylon, Paisley, Kellen, Dall He enjoyed spending time with his family the most when he was in the kitchen preparing a meal for them.

Pat launched a modest tractor repair business on the side while he was still employed by the City of Jacksonville. Because of the success of his company, he was able to take early retirement from the City of Jacksonville and relocate to the town of Callahan in Florida in 1977. When Pat was finally situated in his new home, he opened a mobile home park. Because he enjoyed people, cooking, gathering around campfires, and other social activities, he decided to open Kelly’s Countryside RV Park. People go from all over the world, some even making the journey all the way from Canada to spend the winter there. Pat had a special talent for making others feel like they were a member of his family and loved by him.

Pat had a passion for hosting get-togethers, and he opened his pond to local churches, schools, and private parties in addition to being the host of the Next of Kin Kelly Reunions for more than three decades. These get-togethers would run anywhere from two to four days, and anywhere from two hundred to three hundred people would show up. Pat had a deep affection for his family, and he was always making sure that everyone was well fed and having a nice time.

Pat and more than 25 of his family members’ other members were regulars at The Anchor Church of God, where Pat was a member. Once you’ve known Pat Kelly, it’s impossible to forget about him. That was the type of man he was! On Friday, December 16, 2022, the family will have a get-together for friends at The Anchor Church of God from 6:00 to 8:00 o’clock in the evening. A funeral service for Pat will be performed at The Anchor Church of God on the morning of Saturday, December 17, 2022 at eleven o’clock (local time). The arrangements are being taken care of and directed by Nassau Funeral Home, which can be reached at 904-879-1770 and is located at 541720 US-1 in Callahan, Florida.
