According to a Facebook post; Eva Jurado-Poss, my good friend, I hope that the turmoil in your life has finally subsided. It blows my mind that we weren’t able to get together more frequently. You will always be remembered in my mind as one of the most positive and amusing people I have ever known, despite the passage of time. You will forever be connected in people’s minds with the ideas of life and vigour. You were the kind of person who always put your whole heart into whatever endeavor you undertook. You were an exceptional source of vitality and power in the roles of friend, mother, wife, daughter, and sister that you played in our lives.
The void that will be created by your removal from this world will be enormous! You regularly referenced to a well-known motivational adage called “If you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life,” and you had a genuine belief in the validity of this proverb. We are thankful to you for everything that you have done and the inspiration that you have provided. I am so sad you are gone … I will never forget all of the times that we made one other laugh, and I will also never forget my lovely childhood buddy who told me stories of the glory days of Our Lady of Lourdes Elementary School. I adore you, sweetheart, and I pray that the Lord blesses and guards your family always. May he provide for them and keep them safe. I’ll never be able to get over how much I long for you.
