Colin Hooley Obituary Plymouth MA, Colin Hooley has passed away

Colin Hooley Obituary, Death – It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to deliver the awful news that our very own Colin Hooley was taken from us after only 36 years on this earth. Hazel-Grace Hooley, who just turned three years old and is survived by Colin’s loving wife Sybille Hooley. Hazel-Grace just recently celebrated her third birthday. He leaves behind a large number of family members who cared deeply about him and whose lives have been turned upside down as a result of his passing. Colin was the kindest and most honest of men; he was a wonderful father, friend, brother, son, and teammate who contributed to making the world a better place; he will be sorely missed.

When I initially started playing softball, Colin was one of the first people I met, and he soon established himself as one of my closest friends. Colin thrived on the joy that he saw in the faces of others, and he would go out of his way to make those around him laugh, frequently using himself as the punchline of one of his jokes. I’ll never forget how ecstatic he was to tell me that he and Sybille were going to be parents to a little girl named Hazel-Grace; the joy on his face was contagious. I told him that I was also welcoming my first child Charlie, and that Charlie and I were very delighted to travel through this experience together.

Hazel-Grace was Colin’s world, and he was unquestionably a big part of hers as well; it breaks my heart to think of the suffering she must be going through because she no longer has her doting father. There is no amount of money that could ever make up for the loss of Colin, but if you are able to make a donation, it will assist to relieve the burden of any financial hardship that may be associated with giving Colin a decent burial. I am grateful to you.
